Loan Modifications Could Lower Credit Score

Did you know that if you decide to get and are granted a loan modification that your credit score could be lowered by as much as 100 points????? Many housing counselors feel this is unfair to impose such a penalty on people trying to do the right thing and not go into foreclosure.

The credit rating industry defends this practice noting that people asking for this are already in dire straights and an actual foreclosure could reduce a credit rating 150 points or more.

With the expansion of the internet, 80% of home buyers are beginning their home search online. I am more concerned with placing my listings into internet syndication way before I think of paper advertising. Having said that, many buyers are locating the perfect house on line.
